Re: replaced controller still no go.
It's sounding more like a controller problem then.

Re: replaced controller still no go.
ok so I have an update, I took the controller I have and took it to a local golf course where I live, owner is a friend, and I was able to install my controller on one of his carts. well after installed his cart it worked installed his on mine still no go put everything back together on his cart with his controller and it worked. what else could I be missing would there be anything in the motor to not let this happen right the buzzer, anything else I feel like pulling my hair out right now.

Re: replaced controller still no go.
A PDS cart will run without the speed sensor connected and will run without the buzzer connected. Might not run fast, but it will run.
Without the solenoid clicking, the cart won't run. You said you had pack voltage on all the wire highlighted in red on the schematic I posted, so the solenoid should click, but isn't. That says the controller is bad, or the solenoid is somehow not connected to the controller properly. Your controller works in another cart, but the other cart's controller, which works in the other cart, won't work in your cart. That pretty much eliminates the controller being the problem. You said you had pack voltage on J1 Pin-6 (Blue wire), so the controller is sending B+ to the solenoid coil like it is supposed to. (The voltage reading on the Blue wire is coming through the solenoid coil) Place Run/Tow in Tow. Remove Blue wire from solenoid terminal. Connect jumper wire from solenoid terminal that Blue wire was on to the main main negative terminal on battery pack. Place Run/Tow back into Run. Solenoid should now click when key is on and either F or R is selected on F/R switch. If so, push throttle pedal and wheels should spin. There may be more than one issue, but get the solenoid to click when it is supposed to and then we can tackle the rest of them. |

Re: replaced controller still no go.
This is where keyboard technicians begin pulling their hair out.
The solenoid either clicks when power is applied or it is permanently welded closed. Like Johnnie said - lets sort that mystery out first. |

Re: replaced controller still no go.
The motor wires do not need to connected to the controller for the solenoid to work .
He needs 36v (+) power at J1 pin 4,7,8,9 with the key on. AND 36v (+) at J4 pin 1&2 with the pedal down. When all this happens the solenoid clicks or it's trash. |
