yamaha elec g14 jerks at slow speed
Not sure what to check on this. The cart is a 95 Yamaha g14 36v. New batteries and cables. Solenoid is good. Cart starts jerking when operating at slow speed. Any ideas? Controller? Cart has stock motor and controller and has large tires.

Could be a bad throttle sensor.

Re: yamaha elec g14 jerks at slow speed
Just tested the throttle sensor/potentiometer and they are good.

Re: yamaha elec g14 jerks at slow speed
Those stock conters can be "funky", but i would check the motor itself first (if you are SURE throttle sensor is good). Works fine at full speed? Fine if you "punch the throttle"? It really does sound like a throttle sensor.... Readings have to be "silky smooth" from 0 to 1k, no "jumpieness".
