spark when hooking up battery

I have an 08 star cart . When connecting the last negative cable there is a pretty good spark that occurs. Is this normal? Key switch is off, tow/run switch is in tow and all batteries are connected correctly.

Often when making the last connection there will be a smallish spark seen as there may be some capacitors in the system that draw the current. Generally as long as it was just one spark and nothing else bad seems to be going on it would be considered normal.
