the 13 or 14 cables I am referring to INCLUDE the old ones that are on the cart now.

the BATTERY CABLE SET you found on amazon are just that, cables that connect the batteries together.

but as old as they are.......it would be best to replace them all. no need to "CHEAP OUT" on the vital "veins" that will carry the "blood" of the electrical system. as you will end up spending in the neighborhood of $800 for a set of batteries, the systems "heart".

So in this case since these are hard to find...would it be just as good to make my own cables?

Ok..so I'm just going to try to get her going by ordering a set of battery cables and clean up the ones that are in the cart now. I'm really trying not to dump a whole lot into this thing. If I can get her running then she goes back onto craigslist so I can finance parts for the 89 gas project. My cousins dad worked for a golf course near Charlotte...he said he could get me a decent set of used batteries for cheap.

Here is the correct wiring diagram for your Resistor cart.
You can also find manuals in this thread: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-manuals.html

The box on the right side of the photo is the resistor box.
The schematic provided earlier in this thread was for a cart with a solid state current controller.
