Voltage reducer question
My 2007 Drive that I purchased has a reducer, but no fuse on the power line. I was messing with the light connection and accidently arched the wire and destroyed the reducer. I have lights, horn, radio and rarely ever have any of them on at the same time. Can I get away with a 10 amp reducer or need to go higher? There seems to be a pretty big price difference

Re: Voltage reducer question
as long as your amp draw is less than 10 amps
i would go with 20+ amps with the radio |

Re: Voltage reducer question
A 10 amp reducer is probably a cheap piece of crap. Reducers are finaky enough as it is. I'm assuming price is the reason for wanting to do 10amp but sometimes it's cheaper to buy the right one than change a cheap burnt up one twice. Just my $.02
Dpi makes the best one in my opinion |
