Lug Nuts & Gear Oil
Working on my 2007 YDRE, and I had a couple of questions.
Does my Team axle take 75W90 gear lube? And can I use synthetic? Last one, for now anyways, where do I get a socket to fit the lug nuts. Mine has these funny looking slotted lug nuts. I can proved pics if I need to. Thanks! |

Re: Lug Nuts & Gear Oil
Yamaha part number "ACC-SHAFT-LU-00" (Friction modified shaft drive gear oil). You have some tricky "security lug nuts", they are specific to the source (ie: not made by yamaha).

Re: Lug Nuts & Gear Oil
Thanks Cgtech. I will pick up some of that oil here locally. I found the key for the lug nuts. Quick search online told me that they are a 6 spline lug nut. Found a key on amazon for 7 bucks.
Thanks again! |
