What exactly is a personality plug for 48v drive
Ive seen personality plugs on a few websites, i was just wondering what they do exactly? Thanks

Only applies to the 36v PDS ezgo. No such thing as a "personality plug" for a yamaha...
The only similar thing for yamaha (G22 & Drive with Moric controller only), is the PTV speed code. PTV speed code unlocks speed up to 19mph with stock tires, does nothing at all for torque, speed only. PTV speed code is only available from & installed by Yamaha dealer. |

The "Personality Chip" is what Madjax calls their cart specific harness adapter interface for their Torque controller.
