48 v solenoid question
I have the Alltrax 600 amp controller. I'm converting to 48V. Do I need the 600 amp solenoid or will a 400amp suffice? I see the heavy duty ones can take 400 continuous and 800 spiked.

Re: 48 v solenoid question
I use a 400a continuous solenoid rated for 1000 peak amps
I think we have the lowest price on the net. |

http://www.cartsunlimited.net/solenoids.html I'm not sure which D&D motor you have, but no matter what it is, it isn't likely to draw 600A (controller 2-minute limit) at 48V longer than a 400A/100A Super-Duty solenoid can pass it. |

Re: 48 v solenoid question
ScottyB. Since you have helped me so much I would be honored to buy from you. So it's $75 with the resister and diode? Let's do this.
