Speaking about starter motors what about all the atv and other vehicles that are snorkeled and drive around for extended periods completely submerged.

Golf carts are not designed to run under water! If you want to do it plan on doing repairs.

Ever seen a golf cart in the pond at the golf course? Ever seen one driving out of the pond?

One of these things was designed for underwater use, one was not.

Have you ever seen a golf cart going over 30MPH? Ya, every DAY but they weren't designed for that either!

Just because Scotty does not sell a kit for it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Does Bad Boy Buggies and other "hunting cart" companies tell there customers the 4 wheel drives is great but if you go off pavement your warranty is void?

Apparently I asked the question in the wrong forum, sorry, I didn't realize this was street carts only.

Go right ahead and drive your cart into a pond. Don't be surprised when it leaves you high and dry! :-)

If you put 24" tires on your cart and the motor bottom is above the axle centerline about 4-5". I'm guessing the motor is 7" in diameter. That would mean the water would have to be about two feet deep to cover the motor. Do you really play in water that deep?

I'm not making fun of you as I do that and more in my truck. But not in the cart. It just seems extreme for a cart. You may be able to do some sealing on the motor. But if your running in two feet of water, you better look at the controller and pedal box too. If you do some mods, take lots of pics and let us know the results.
