Default Brake adjustment 96 TXT.

Is the proper place to adjust the brakes under the petal up under the floor board?

I don't see a normal plug on the backing plate like on ATV or auto brakes.

brakes are self adjusting

it can not be accessed from back

The way to get the brakes to self-adjust is to drive cart forward at modest speed (<15MPH) , push hard on brake pedal (being careful not to set parking brake) and release while cart is still moving (>1MPH).

Repeat as required.

I guess I am interested in this, it relates to my other thread about the cart pulling right. After a drive yeaterday. I hit the read hubs with an IR gun. The right ride was hotter than left. And today I could feel the difference with my hand. It's only about 10 difference and to me is not hot enough that I feel the heat and worry about bad bearings. I'm just wondering if the right side is adjusted too tight and dragging on that side to cause the pull?

it is possible ... pull drums and check wear
while you are in there you can back off the star wheel on the right

Seriously !!! There's no way to adjust them without pulling the drums! That seems like a poor design!
