You won't be disappointed. Definitely a noticeable torque difference.

Had some time today and got the contactor wired in and replaced all my battery and motor wires with 2 gauge. What a set up. Scottyb the instructions and wire diagram made it easy. I highly recommend the upgrade guys.

I finished it up and took it around the block and it gained 1mph. No heat on the contactor or wires. I guess all the heat from before was wasting that extra speed and torque.

When I got home the post office dropped off my controller so i know what I'll be doing tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for the help and advice everyone. I'll let y'all know how the controller works out.

Reversing contactors stay as cool as cucumber's.....all the time!! Plus, with the addition of 2ga crimped and soldered wires.....Well.....it's like "What?....Me worry??

Well I got the new controller and solenoid installed and wired up.
All I can say is that I'm impressed. The install was easy and everything worked on the first try.
One question though, can the 400 solenoid be installed upside down?

It should not be mount inverted. See if you can't turn it around
