97 TXT Wiring Issue
Hey everyone just been googling for days trying to find answers and it’s not ending up too well. I have a request: those with a 97 and has the electronic forward/reverse as your shin please post up a pic of your solenoid. I picked up a junker and trying to get it all running.
At first it was always energiezed, no matter the key position it would drive. Replaced the ignition switch, now it turns off. But the tow/run switch doesn’t work. I have the entire switch off and it still drives, and I have a feeling the previous owner did some creative rewiring. The solenoid has no diode across the small terminals but has a large chipset looking resistor/diode pack across the large leads. Any and all help would be appreciated. |

Re: 97 TXT Wiring Issue
Is this a DCS drive system you are talking about? The PDS wasn’t out then. So I’m assuming it is.

Re: 97 TXT Wiring Issue
I believe you are correct. It only has one harness plug on the controller, and can’t be freedom chipped.
