Before i buy the wrong stuff to go 48v
I have an 89 ds that has a the D&D high torque 48v motor and a , logisystems 700 amp controller thats good for 36/48v.. i just bought the high amp 36v solenoid to help with the low end shutter.
A buddy of mine has a 48v F/R switch i can get from him, a good solenoid and a charge port.. BUT my question is on my f/r switch i have 4 big cables that run to it and 2 for the micro switch.. On the 48v switches they have 2 big cables and like 5 little ones with spade connectors and im curious as to how this is wired up What am i missing.. Thank you |

Re: Before i buy the wrong stuff to go 48v
Use the same switch you are using now. 48v results in lower amperage flow and less heat at the F&R switch. If the F&R is working now on 36 it will work on 48.
