Default Alltrax controller issue, inductive throttle switch

Just had cart upgraded with new Alltrax controller, new motor, wires, etc., when we tried to go the controller trips and cart won’t move. The error code is showing that the cart is at 6% throttle when the key is turned on and not pressing the gas. Dealer believes it’s a bad inductive throttle switch causing it to show that 6%. Does this sound right? Anybody else had this issue after upgrading? Is there an easy way to confirm this is the problem or should I just go ahead and replace it. Cart is an 2006 EZGO TXT, just upgraded to 48 v

I had an issue and it turned out the Alltrax I had was set up for a Club Car instead of my EZGO. In the Alltrax App, when you are connected to the controller there was a bit of info about the throttle in the monitor section, I think. It's there somewhere if not in the 'monitor' tab. Anyway, it was visible there that it wasn't set up for my EZGO.

Check that. If it is set up for a different throttle then it probably has the wrong field map for the motor too.

What type drive, series or sepex (PDS)?

What is the error code? (list attached)

Is the 'High Pedal Disable" box checked on the Throttle page?

What is the voltage between the white and black wires connected to the ITS sensor in the pedal box? (Should be 10V pedal up and 6V pedal on floor)

What is the voltage between the white and black wires (J4 Pin-4 and J4 Pin-3) at the controller?

Also check the start up code on the LED status light. For ITS it will flash 4 green and go solid green when the solenoid just clicks.... then when the pedal is fully depressed it should be orange indicating full throttle.

PDS CART, 4 green then solid green. He unchecked the “High Pedal Disable” box so that the cart would at least run. It wouldn’t move until he did that. Haven’t checked any of the voltages yet.

You should be able to go into the software and clear the throttle auto-cal. Once it's cleared hold the throttle down in neut for 10 secs to recal. If that doesn't solve your problem you might have to select "Absolute Throttle" and follow the instructions to correct it. Absolute Throttle also gives you the ability to select the % of throttle applied before you get a HPD fault.

The 4 green then solid green is the normal power up sequence when XCT is set to ITS throttle type. An error code would have a series of green and red blinks, as shown on the blink code list I posted.

The pedal might not be returning to the full upright position due to debris blocking it, or a weak/broken return spring. Or the plunger might (in the pedal box) be out of adjustment. Attached specs.

With the HPD box checked, will the XCT power up if the pedal is pulled up manually?

Opened the throttle box and the micro switch was laying in the bottom of the box. Also, you can see the 7/32 drill bit in the gap. Appears the gap is to big. Will adjusting to the correct gap just give me more throttle. Seems my problem is that I have to much throttle now as it shows 6% without pressing the pedal.

After looking at it, I believe the cam was going back to far and when the pedal was pushed it broke the micro switch toggle thing off. Would the micro switch not being pressed be the reason for the 6% throttle indication while just sitting there?

I just ordered a new micro switch as the old one was broke where the toggle lever attcthes to the micro switch.
