Default New motor break-in

I have a new Admiral Motor. I’m confused on the break in.

It says drive various speeds for 6-10 miles. But then right after that step 1 says to accelerate slowly and drive at full speed for 5-10 minutes.

Do I drive it at full speed or various speeds to start with?

drive at various speeds for 6-10 miles to break in the motor. This will break in your new motor. After that. Now your testing your new motor for heat. It says - 1 - Drive the cart on pavement, accelerate slowly. Maintain full speed for 5-10 minutes, then stop to check the motor temperature. 2 - Check the motor temperature every 10 minutes for the first half hour by touching the case of the motor. You do the first thing it tells you to break the motor in. 1 - then you are testing the motor after that
