Battery indicator goes from full to red
So help me diagnos this. I have newish batteries that I had a place test them for a week and they are fine. But battery status indicator will stay full for a few days of light riding around 5 acres might drop to second bar but at some point it goes from full to red and power drops and sometimes I get stuck and have to push it back to charger. Why does it not slowly discharge instead of drastically. Is it the inticator malfunctioning or is it something else with the cart

If it’s an aftermarket indicator, that could be the problem. Sometimes those are cheap.

What type of battery status meter?
Have you checked voltages and compared to the chart published here: Carts Unlimited |

The OEM meters are crap. I had a cart that would fall flat on it face performance wise and the meter would read half full. When checked with a meter it was empty. That when I started hunting for the best digital battery meter. It's like having a DVM connected full time to give real time readings. Every cart should have one.
