Yay! A photo of a model number. After asking the above three times, I give up.

It sounds like his charger turned off, but the next day, was found to be humming/buzzing. His charger doesn't initiate a recharge, or even go into float mode. If it did, something is definitely draining his batteries.

Unplugging the charger from cart will determine whether charger needs to be connected to turn on by itself in the middle of the night.

The next step would be measure pack voltage and report. We need at least one decimal place.

Then I might charge it fully again, and be SURE that it turns off and see if it turns on again, or if this was just a fluke.

A bad connection in the charge loop - charger cord, plug, receptical, cables, batteries - "could" have caused charger to turn on again.

Was the charger allowed to keep buzzing? We don't know, as he never answered whether he unplugged it from cart.

A little mo' info is good. How about give us a blow by blow account of what happened:

Day 1 - Plugged in cart and it charged. Charger turned off. Battery reading?
Day 2 ...

Since your charger should NEVER turn itself on, even if your batteries were being drained, you have a problem, and we can't solve it without info.

Unless you charger has a float mode, you'll need to reinitiate a charge at least monthly.
