Still having throttle problems
It has been awhile since I posted about my issues. Here is the previous discussion. Once I got everything running, I had some lurching issues with the new torque motor here.
I just started looking at it again tonight since I thought it was just a throttle curve issue. With my laptop hooked up and turning the cart on, the throttle position jumps to 89% with the pedal up. I cleared the auto cal, it took a few tries but now sits at 90%. I am guessing this is why when I barely press the throttle the cart lunges. When I looked at the ITS wiring before, I never saw a molex connector or any evidence that it was repaired. Since the throttle is indicating 90%, I am guessing that the voltages are off. Since the controller has already been replaced, there must be some issue with the wiring. I remember seeing some wires where the coating was worn off, but I put electrical tape over the exposed wiring. |
