Re: I think I killed my Alltrax SPM 400
I used to love my air gun fitting for my compressor. That is until I loaned my compressor to a neighborhood kid, who used it for flipping cars. Then he moved and forgot to return it.
I miss it and all the hoses, ratchets, chisels, impact guns, etc. but until I need one, I'll live without. I use my shopvac and leaf blower now. |

Re: I think I killed my Alltrax SPM 400
I clean a lot of stuff with compressed air. Combine, dryer, barn, baler, forage chopper, wagons plus the regular smaller stuff. My blow gun for the larger stuff is a 6' piece of 3/4" copper pipe flattened at one end and a ball valve on the other. But even 175psi won't remove dried on clay, roadsalt, or "livestock byproduct". That needs to be softened/dissolved by water first.

The kid graduated high school, but nothing past that. He bought Hondas and tore them down and rebuilt them to sell. He did good, but the HOA hated him. I begged him to go to a vo-tech school, and helped him by rolling up my sleeves and having fun tearing down and rebuilding cars. One day, they were gone. |

Sad. But hey, maybe he's doing better now in part because of your kindness!

As for the OPs question, did you say you washed it a month ago and it’s still not working? |

Re: I think I killed my Alltrax SPM 400
Been a while since my question, been waiting on ground to dry up and to get some time to drag the cart home. She’s back home still not running, gonna clean up the connections and see if that helps. Didn’t realize how chopped up the previous owner left it until I reviewed my previous posts. Gonna make it interesting figuring it out. Still betting on fried controller though. I haven’t tried the couple suggestions yet but I will this week and will post results.
