Default Stock RXV Voltage Reducer ???

I've got a 2016 EZGO RXV Freedom that came with a stock voltage reducer to run the headlights and taillights. I would like to add a stereo and accessory lights to the cart but don't know how to hook into the voltage reducer. Does anyone have any advice for a relative beginner on this? And maybe some pics of their setup?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure about stock, but I added one to my cart. If you can find the voltage reducer then you should see a Red and Black that are the battery source voltage and then a yellow and black coming out as the 12v supply. I would imagine your headlights and taillights are hooked up to that. Just splice into those and connect your stereo.

What voltage reducer? Amp output.
Do you have a fuse panel from reducer to your other assesories, like lights horn, ect. You should be able to pick up a 12 volt supply from fuse panel assuming your converter will support the amp load of added assesories. Any 12 volt accessories should come from fuse panel to be fused protected

I am not sure about the specifics of the reducer. It came on the cart from EZGO. It runs the horn and headlights and tail lights. It has a wiring connector that plugs into it and it has two wires that come out of it and are attached to to separately mounted terminals. When I put my multimeter on it one measures 13.4 volts and the other is zero when the cart is in the on position. I am assuming those are the terminals you would use attach your electronic accessories? There is no fuse panel, but the stereo's positive lead has an inline fuse with it. I am assuming this would do the same thing as a panel? Thanks for your help.

I would add a inline fuse to to accessory’s your adding for protection if one of them had an issue ( short, ground, ect)
I eliminated my glass fuse panel in lew of in line fuse’s to help eliminate corrosion, bad connection problems I had when getting accessories to work on my 1012 when first purchased
