Default Onward Battery light stays on after XCT500 Install

Needing some direction or ideas.

After installing an XCT500, solenoid, and cables, my battery light comes on solid yellow and stays that way until I turn the key back off. Everything is working as expected following the install.

This is the confusing part... These are brand new T875 batteries that were done with the install. They have been through two complete charging cycles and the ERIC charger is set to Algorithm 1. The meter is staying at a constant 51.5 volts while at rest and there is normal voltage drop under load.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Luke

Did You by any change also install a mode switch?

The Alltrax XCT uses pin #11 on the Controller for User mode 1, but that pin is used for the battery light on the new carts.

Just disconnect the battery warning light and insulate the wires to prevent them from touching anything as the XCT Controller is not designed to work with the warning light anyway.

Yes, I installed Alltrax FN-2, the one that has dual rheostats.

yes, the switch is interacting with the warning light.

Either cut the blue/yellow wire from pin #11 on the Controller or disconnect the wires from the warning light (and insulate them).

Just curious, is this an old stock XCT500 (date revision on the controller)?

Whatever the problem was it fixed itself. The last two rounds of golf no light. I didn’t change a thing.
