Default Old EZgo identification help

A friend pick up an old one and wants me to put it back into order. How do I find the year and model etc?

Serial number will help identify. Places it could be are passenger side glove box, under frame near pedals on driver side, tag under charge port, on passenger side frame next to battery on the "arch", on the frame just below the body between the roof supports, metal tag next to passengers left foot. Post a pic of the cart and the steering when you get it, we will know what it is.

another thing would be to post some pictures of it, as there have been so little difference over the years/models, once you establish that, you would be pretty good to go.

I can tell it's a TXT model, and it's "series" drive type. Take a pic of the steering box under the nose, and we can narrow it down some more. (Or find the serial #).

I love the white Caprice wagon in the background...

I don't think those electrical resistor speed control parts belong with that cart, the cart has the aluminum heatsink for mounting a motor controller.

Yeah he sent a bunch of junk. Realistically I need to determine if putting it back into working order is financially feasible. Just a cart for his daughter to cruise around near the ranch house. Mostly gravel roads.

well you will need the entire drive system (controller, solenoid, f&r) about $500 (400 amp & SD solenoid, and HD F&R), plus a set of cables ($270), a set of batteries 6-8v for a 48v system (roughly $800)…..so you are looking in the neighborhood of $1570 to truly do the drive system up right. sure you could do it cheaper, but you would end up with a stock cart.

plus it looks like you need a seat, and a top if you want/need one, and possibly a windshield.
