However, there is a black wire coming from the harness that has a connector that is not connected, just hanging.

I am talking to you on a tablet and it does not have a paperclip.

First MS is MS2.

Second MS appears to have a red wire from MS2 connected to the top terminal and orange to the other. Is that not true?

You are on a website, not a tablet. The website has a paperclip, and I already sent you a picture of it. I also sent you another pic of my best guess, which I had hoped you'd comment on. I was wrong about which wire is the jumper. It is red and connects one MS to the other, does it not?
Black spade connector goes to beeper. Beeper should also have another wire connected. Where does that go? Should go same place as orange.

Look at image below. It is a thumbnail. You have to click on it. Have I identified TWO wires on MS4? You said MS4 has just one?

He already said he couldn't read this. I sent an AXE wiring diagram on post #2, which has different pin numbers on the controller.

The good news is it works. Apparently MS4 is stuck closed and backup beeper is disconnected. All he needs to do is replace MS4 and find someone who can read a diagram, if he wants/needs 1/2 speed reverse and a backup beeper.

Sorry for being impatient, but I sent you several thumbnails and it seemed like you were ignoring them. If you could answer all questions in the last several posts, we can be certain it's MS4 stuck closed, and not spray-paint/under-coating, or whatever in the FNR cam.

Ok. Wires are attached exactly to ms4 as in the thumbnail you sent.

Then it really sounds like MS4 is stuck closed - on. You can get one at most golf cart shops or from a site sponsor. Make sure you call it MS4 for a series cart.

However before you get a new one, look closely at its lever and see if it appears to move when the FNR is in neutral then in reverse.

While you wait for a new one, you can connect the black wire with a spade connector to the beeper. Does it beep? If not, look on the other spade connector of the beeper and see where the wire goes.
