Default Curtis controller programming

I have a pair of club car ds 1999 models.
I ordered a GE 500 amp controller for one and the company sent me the one that superceded it instead.. A 1205-410 Curtis 500 amp 36/48.
Now that was nice (i guess) being that the GE is no longer available, although the throttle input is not programmed correctly.
I have called dozens of shops and club car dealers and to no avail.. I live in Florida and travel the state frequentlt if someone knows a shop or guy.
I also wouldn't mind knowing some programming info on the controllers to see if there is a model that works for most carts and i may buy one. One shop had a programmer but he said it was proprietary to only curtis ez go controllers.
Thanks all for any help.

Have you contacted GE and asked if they have a program or access point for you?

I assume you mean Curtis, yeah i havent been able to get ahold of the right person yet but ill keep trying. Their business hours are mon-fri.
I just was hoping someone knew someone or a shop, there have been dozens ive contacted with no programmer so im leaning towards trying to find the best programmer that could work with club car or ez go and then drop some cards off at local shops.

A regular Curtis handheld should be able to do this. I bought my 4401 from an ezgo dealer and it works fine on a club car. Where in Florida are you?

Gotcha, yeah one of the shops i talked to said their programmer would get into all the curtis controllers but could only make changes on ez go models. I live in St Augustine but travel the state constantly.

There are places in line and on eBay where you can rent the curtis programmer. They will ship it to you, and you ship it back when you are finished. Google it.
