Default Powerdrive 2 question

What would cause a 2 second on 2 second off situation? Cart is a 2010 Precedent. I know the charger shuts off and on in the beginning of a charge cycle, but this is a constant on/off on exact timed intervals which makes me want to suspect a bad OBC vs. A bad connection. I've tried different chargers with the same results. Anyone seen this before?

If it’s not a failed OBC then it would possibly be a poor connection in the charge receptacle or one of the wires to the receptacle.

Probably a bad OBC I would think.

Thanks! That's what I'm thinking. I haven't into the charge receptacle yet, but nothing is getting hot there, and it is so perfectly timed. I would think a bad connection would be random.

I have had that happen a few times. It has always been a bad OBC. To verify it, simply bypass the OBC by running the a jumper from the charge receptacle Black 10g wire and the grey sense wires over to the main pack negative. If it runs correctly (no On-Off) you have proven the issue.

It was the OBC. I have never seen one to like that. It was perfectly timed 2 seconds on 2 seconds off!
