2000 48 volt club are
I just put in new Trojan battery's. Fully charged it will show 54 volts. When going up hills it will almost come to a stop. Is there a speed control or a speed sensor that might be bad ?

Make sure all your cables are good. I had a cable that was corroded up under the insulation and causing similar symptoms. Also melted a post on my new Trojan before I figured it out.
