Default Re: Newbie needs info and advice?

First, I have a Club Car and I am very pleased with the towing capacity that it has exhibited thus far. I have towed roughly a 600 pound trailer around a very hilly area (driven clutch spring replaced). Of course a local Yamaha dealer tells me what a PoS my CC is versus a Yamaha cart is. He is able to cite the higher torque that a Yamaha provides.

A standard unmodified cart is designed to pull another cart that has died off a course and that is roughly 600-700 pounds.
