Default Do I have missing motor bolt- see pic

Hi all. I have a 2004 DS series. I just had a new PQ motor installed by an authorized club car dealer. I noticed a hole that appears to have threads for a bolt. It may have always been this way, but I never noticed before. Can someone tell me if this is normal or what is supposed to go in this open hole? See pic. Thanks!

I think your good. Some of the stock motors had an extra bracket that bolted to that location. When I upgraded my motor didnt interface there. You should be good to go.

The stock motor has an aluminum mounting bracket that it uses to bolt to the transmission housing. It might not necessarily need 4, but since aluminum tends to be brittle having the extra bolt on the bottom helps.
The PQ motor has an all steel housing that’s probably 10 times the thickness of the stock motor. Really it probably only needs two bolts to hold it on, but three holds it just fine.

That extra hole is not “open” into anything. So nothings going to leak out or get dirt in it.
