Default 1986 Club Car DS banging when driving

I have a 1986 club car DS that has the five solenoids. When I’m driving it the cart starts to feel like it’s slamming the motor around. I put it on my lift and it’s just starts like it’s in top gear.
The guy I got it from said he replaced all the solenoids. Could it be the throttle sensor going bad which is a gray box?

Also when the cart is in forward and you hit the gas the cart does not stop unless you put it in neutral.

Sounds to me like solenoids are sticking. Did the former owner replace with cheap Chinese ones?

The solenoids were bought from a golf cart dealer. I hope they weren't the cheap ones. Could it be the throttle sensor.

You don't have a throttle sensor, you have a series of micro switches in that box. Make sure pedal is returning all the way.

Sounds like first solenoid is stuck closed and others are not closing except high speed. Certainly more than one issue. Get the solenoids straightened out, I assume the FNR is sparking when engaged at high speed.
