Default Precedent motor in a 2003 Club Car DS IQ- new controller?

My 14 year old purchased a barely running golf cart and is basically rebuilding it. It is a 48v 2003 DS IQ with no tow/run switch. It was quite corroded/rusty so he removed literally everything and broke several things in the process. It's partially back together now with new batteries, many new wires, a new f/r switch, new solenoid and a precedent motor (read on here that it would work but can't find the thread now).

Nothing happens now though. Solenoid does not click. He says it's receiving 51.1 v. Wondering if he needs a controller to match the motor?

I'm sure someone with a lot more knowledge will chime in, but I thought an IQ cart should have a Tow/Run switch, unless it was removed. It is the master On/Off switch for the 48v power to the Key switch, FNR switch, Reverse buzzer and has an input to the controller (Gray pin #19). Without the pin #19 input it won't run.
The solenoid will have B+ voltage on the input post and the controller will close the solenoid after several inputs determine it is good to go. The last input is the Foot switch (Green pin #6).
Controllers need to match the motor type - series or sepex.
What is the first few digits of the Serial no. ?
What type FNR switch is installed - lever or rocker?

Nevermind. A little more reading and we realized that even though the cart has IQ stickers all over it, it is not an IQ (Serial number AA03...) so.. the motor we have is not compatible.

Anyone need a 103572501 Model EJ8-4001A 48v Motor out of a 2010 Precedent?

I'm still curious what the answer is to this question. I have the stock motor in mine and if using this motor would work on my buggy it'd be a serious consideration.

So I also bought the solenoid based on the assumption it was an IQ, is this also incompatible?
