Default 2011 48v Club Car only goes 10mph

Thanks for the add! I have a new to me 2011 48v club car. Batteries are less than a year old. Appears to be a very clean cart. Does have back seat-lift-larger tires and wheels. However I can only top out at 10mph. I do not want a race cart! But I will be using it at my hunting club, so I would like a little more giddy up! Just want to make sure the cart is normal before I attempt any upgrades. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sounds like a bad speed sensor putting the cart in limp mode...

Thanks. Just tried that and the cart had some resistance and the buzzer went off. So I am assuming speed sensor ok at this time. Thanks. I am not sure if the cart is still in the factory speed setting of 1. I don’t mind buying the upgraded controller, even from a site sponsor. Just want to make sure I am good to go before I start upgrading.
