Cart Lurched Forward and Will Not Move Now
Good morning. I hope everyone is doing well. I have built three golf carts and I am perplexed with this problem. I have a Precedent electric I stretched to a 6 seater. The other day I went to move the cart and when I hit accelerator, the cart lurched forward then no power from motor. I tried again in reverse, it lurched backwards and then no power. I tried one more time in forward and it lurched forward and then lost power. Final try, cart did nothing when hitting accelerator and FWD/Reverse switch in either position. Accelerator "clicks" when pressed making me feel it is functioning properly and the OBC is getting the signal but cart is simply unresponsive. I have charged and battery pack is reading 53 volts so it doesn't seem like a battery issue. Motor is a plum quick that is probably 8-9 years old. Has anyone been through this issue or know a path to a solution?
