I'm glad we all agree. You want/need/require a controller suited to your cart usage.

I put 5-8 miles on mine yesterday. Up hill, down hill, on and off road, full speed and just creeping. Checked the control temp several times and it wasn't even warm. Love that DTX500 and would recommend it to anyone.

I'm getting ready here in the next week or so to start rebuilding one of my carts for sale, I have purchased a Alltrax 4855 ( I believe ) and bigger motor from D&D, along with 2 guage wiring which I will cut and crimp. I am excited to put this one together, because of the newer challenge to it. I will keep you all posted as I start the project.
