Gofast that is a good fix, this way if you run your cart in a pond you can drain the engine.

ha ha ha ha and that is a **** good possibility ha ha i was to afraid of the silcone getting into the engine if a small chunk broke off or somehting so i figured that would work just as well

That is an opening in the block for a oil fill tube when that engine is used for other applications. The rubber plug gets hard from the heat and age and will eventually fall/blow out.
If the boat plug doesn't hold up to the oil and heat you can pick up a rubber freeze plug from your local auto parts store. Stick it in the hole and tighten nut. |
