This works. Battery 1 positive, Battery 2 negative, inverter works. It's a 300W inverter with a fuse that's 24V and 30A. The wires don't show the gauge. I am guessing about 14. My gut was what you said was true, that plugging into the posts that connect to the charger would be way too much. Thanks!
