you can buy terminal protector that you spray on. some people use grease, but grease tends to attract dirt.

Use the best; use what telephone and electrical utilities use. It is cheap and a can or tube will last a life time. Sanchem NO-OX-ID A-Special

I use an automotive terminal protectant. I spray some in the cap of the can and apply it with a small short brush. This allows me to get UNDER the lugs. Spaying only coats the tops of the lugs, and it looks messy.

We are not worthy to post in this thread, Gman Gorno is right spary coatings only coat the top




Except for Gorno.......





.....the rest of us spray anything we can get our hands on to keep the air off of the terminals .... I have even seen spray paint used. I like the look of clear laquer on a new set of cables
