The gov is making a $6500 tax credit if you buy a "ELECTRIC CAR" so basically a road legal golf cart. Ruff N Tuff have them also.Check out the link above.

They sold a lot of those carts. I am order #6255. I saw another thread where the guy was order #14000. And there might be a whole different number system for the 4 and 6 seaters. The numbers appear to be sequential. They sold a potential 28000 carts. 28000 X $6000 = 168M. That guy raked it in!

Oh yeah. Zone Car appears to be a rebadged Star Cart. Search ebay for examples. Star also has a website.

There is not much information about them. Not even a youtube video. Your best bet is to research the STAR Cart. It looks identical. Basically, it is a lower quality vehicle ("cheap chinese crap"), but some have been very satisfied. The Zone has some pretty nice specs: 25mph, Curtis 400A, SEPEX, Delta-Q charger, US Batteries. All those are good. The few complaints I found about the Star cars were 1) rear end 2) regen brakes too hard 3) charger went bad.

Join the STAR Car Yahoo group. I joined yesterday and was looking for the same answers u are. I posted a "quality" poll. So far there have been 5 votes: 2 excellent, 2 good, 1 avg, 0 fair, 0 poor. That's not too bad.

I can get any part for any cart, how come I've never seen a parts catalog or a supplier for ANY of these carts?

I'm glad the system worked for you, but with the lack of parts availability - how many of these "free" carts that we all had a part in buying will be in junk yards by the end of the year?

They ain't free.

We paid over 30k in income taxes last year.. Enjoy your new ride.

It'd be nice if the gubment would pay me a $1000 dollar tax credit for every
illegal I captured, because I could clean up 09's tax bill in one day.

Better than that, if the gubment would pay me dollar for dollar back for every
buck they have stolen from me, I could open an amusement park.

Personally, I hope those chinese carts fall apart at the seams..
