Problem with alltrax

Ok, I installed the axe 4855 and changed all wires to 4ga. Atleast it runs but the problem is when I touch the pedal the car goes to its max speed. What did I do wrong? The solenoid clicks when I press the pedal and goes to the max.

Do you have a computer and USB to RS-232 cable to check to see how the throttle is configured? For an 2004 EZGO series cart like mine, it has to be set to ITS throttle.

Yes I programmed it to 0-5k (1997 series)

An EZ-Go 1997 Series cart would use an ITS speed control, not a 0-5k pot.

Thank you Gorno once again. Will be programming this thing again but now on the cart which is a lot harder.

There's no way I can do it this way so I guess i'll have to remove it all.

Bet that was a rude awakening. Ours was supposed to come preset with the Ezgo ITS throttle, but it was sent with the 0-5k throttle. Barely hit the pedal and its slinging rocks. Sounds like all it needs is to reset the throttle.
