Cart won't do anything

Our 36V cart won't do anything we have checked the switch and batteries and they seem fine. When you turn on the key and press the pedal you get nothing. The headlights went out first and now it won't do anything. Any ideas?

We are going to need to know the year of the cart and the battery pack voltage as it sits to proceed

SoFar ...... it sounds like dead batteries on an unidentified cart
