Change the motor?
I have an 36v, '88 Marathon with the original motor. I put new all new 4ga wires (everywhere), new Trojen batts, and cleaned the wiper board. It will hold a charge for a long time, goes well on flat land, but it is a dog on the hills.
What is the easiest way to gain more torque and speed? I do not want to convert to 48V and would like to keep it a resistor cart. Would just changing the motor work? How much does larger tires help? Thanks! |

Re: Change the motor?
The best thing to do is send your motor out to be rewound for more poop or install a later model txt motor for a little more poop.
