help wiring and F&R board marathon

I have a black and a white wire coming from the plate that the controller is attached to with two spade connectors on it anyone know where these go searched the diagrams and can't find anything. My Forward and reverse board fried bought new one plugged wired it in worked fine but then lost reverse last night. Any ideas???

Do the small wires belong to the micro-switch? Reverse buzzer? Did it run without them before? What year marathon are you asking about anyway? Controller or resistor cart?

I looked over your previous posts. It sounds like you have two questions in one post. The first has to do with the black and white wires, and the second is why you are frying FNR switches. The black and white wires run from the potentiometer right? The Fried FNR comes from the 72 volt upgrade?

looks like the two wires come from a box with a micro switch attached to it for the accelerator pedal. this is a controller cart. never upgraded to 72 volt stayed at 48volts. can't tell what those two wires attach to. it's a 94 marathon scotty

Depending on the Pot you have there will either be 2 wires or 4 coming from the POT. If 2, they are the 0-5k POT wires, if 4, then the shorter pair is the 0-5k POT wires and the longer pair went to a double micro on the F&R board (those 2 can be ignored).
