Default Cart wont go

Ok joined becouse several searches kept bringing me here looks like a great place for info.

1st of all I have a ez go cart manf code e102 serial num. 1482312 that my 11 year old daughter wrecked it was friends of ours so I had to buy it.It was running fine but the frame in the front was bent.I took the front cowl off heated the frame and beat it back into shape. Now it will not move I have disconnected the batterys.and checked all the connections.I noticed one thing, when i push it forward it beeps 7 times when i push it backward it beeps 3 is that some kind of code? The backup buzzer is working and so are the lights any other thoughts on what to check next? Thanks in advance...

Reread. Check the stickies and I believe you'll find the diagram you need.

when you reconnected them, was the direction selector in gear? Was the run tow switch engaged in run mode? Do you know how to put the cart in Diagnostic mode?

Yeah it might have been in either forward or reverse.I have looked up on how to put in diag. mode flip the toggle switch on the cpu cover right? other than that im all new to this have just learned in the past 2 days. But I can tell im gonna get hooked.I tested the solenoid the 2 big wires are hot but not the 2 small ones.

Im more of a chevy kinda guy but might even sell the hot rod and fix up the cart.

ok Diagnostic mode is easy. You have a functioning reverse buzzer right?

Step 1: make sure key is off and cart is in neutral.
Step 2: Cycle the Run/Tow switch to Tow and then back to Run
Step 3: Shift cart from Neutral to reverse and back to neutral
Step 4: Repeat step 3 until you have done this a total of 5 times
Step 5: Listen for beep code to determine Personality chip installed. 1 beep stock, 2 or 3 beeps is torque, 4 beeps is "freedom" (high speed)
Step 6: Turn on key, shift to forward.
Step 7: press accelerator.
Step 8: Listen to the beeping and determine the sequence.
Step 9: Compare sequence to the listing on the envireonmental cover to determine what is wrong.

Hope that helps.
