charge meter doing funny things
Hi Folks,
So far my used 2005 Yamaha G22 is running fine. I do have a problem with the charge meter though. After a normal green light charge my charge meter will not reflect a full charge. The charge meter will indicate no charge has been received and show about the same as it did before the charge. If I cycle the tow switch then the charge meter will show a full charge. Any ideas would be appreciated, ZDog |

Re: charge meter doing funny things
I talked to my neighbor about this issue today. He is retired but repairs golf carts out of his wife's house. He explained that this particular gauge is not the highest quality and they occasionally fail. By rebooting the system using the tow switch, it resets the gauge and forces it to pay attention. He says it will eventually fail completely.
Best to all, ZDog |
