1989 Yamaha g2 micro switch
Hello, Great site! I'm new to BGW. I have a 1989 G2e that I rebuilt from a donor cart. It burned at some point and had to be completly re-wired. Now it's done and ready to roll but I have one question about a micro switch located at the bottom of the f/r switch. None of the wiring diagrams include this switch. They only show the back buzzer switch mounted at the top of the f/r. It has continuity only when fully engaged in fwd or rev. My best guess its a safety cut off from the ignition side of the solenoid, in case its accidentally knocked out of position. I would really like to confirm this or know if it serves another purpose before I continue.
Thanks for any input. |
