Re: My 48v conversion
Great looking cart fish. But, there is one MAJOR problem I see . There should be a “G” over that horrible sticker you have on the front!!!!!!! JK, bro, awesome set up!
What size controller did you choose? Also, where did you get the new charger port and how did you mount the new batteries? |

Re: My 48v conversion
The controller is 480 amps(package #404b, cartsunlimited.net/Custom_Options.html). I bought everything from Scottyb. Even the extra battery cables. I mounted the 2 extra batteries in the bag well(Scotty provided a diagram on how to hook them up). The charger port came with the charger.
I have not mounted the charger yet. I have a friend fabricating somthing. And there will NEVER be a "G" on my cart. That would lower the value |

Excellent job fishb8!!!! Did Scotty give you all the hookup info.? What decision process did you go through to pick out the electronics? How did you know what works with what?
Thanks!!!! |

Re: My 48v conversion
The upgrade is nice!!! As the batteries get 'broken in' you will see it get even stronger/faster.
Congrats on a great cart! |

My point in all of this is Scotty could have sold me a more expensive controller, but instead he helped me understand I did not need that. To me, that is how an honest man does business. Thanks you Scotty. BTW. If you get it from Scotty you will get instructions/diagrams that are done by Scotty. So they are very detail and accurate. |
