Default Lights Dimming when pressing throttle G19E

Hello,
I was hoping you guys might have some advice. I have a G19E 2000 48v cart with batteries that are 1yr 1month old. I have always kept the water level optimal which is why I believe I have always had a great charge. Lately though I have noticed that my lights cut way down (almost off) when pressing the gas at night. I have included pics showing the total amount across the pack and what I'm hoping (check pics) is the negative for the lights and the positive which looks like they are powered off three batteries. The three batteries these are running off of are around 7.91-7.99 volts. The batteries that are not running these are around 8.49. I have charged these separately to bring them up to the others but don't want to do this all the time. Is it time for a voltage reducer? I see ones on ebay for approx 30.00 and up (48v-12v 10a). I have been told to just get a 12v battery for the lights, but would be great to utilize the full pack if possible. Would a 10a be enough for the lights and a stereo down the road? Don't know how much I would have both of them on at a time, just wondering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Also wanted to note, I put on 4gauge wires for all the batteries a while back, should I put the 6gauge wires back on ?

Hope this issue may ring a bell for some .. ??

so your lights are 24v bulbs or do you just have a 24v to 12v reducer on the cart now?

thanks for the reply,
To tell you the truth, I don't see a module that would be a reducer at the moment (assuming these wires in the picture would lead to a box) so possibly the bulbs are 24v? I can check them tonight when I get home.

Yeah check the light voltage...its odd to have lights wired to 24v so thats a good starting point..

Hello camaroluv, yeah these lights are wired 24v, Positive on one end and negative at the other end of the 3rd battery. I took these wires off and ran them across the other 3 batteries which seemed to help, but don't know how long that will last before they start dimming again. I don't like the fact that these are connected to only three of the batteries so it looks like I may have to invest in a voltage reducer so I can spread the load across all 6 8v batteries.

I am having a similar issue, however I already have a reducer. I suspect that my reducer may be going bad.

Hello Mayfair, if you do find a resolution to this, post back if you would. I'm curious as to what it may be.
Thanks
