Locked up rear end
Hello, I tried to search for what I was looking for, couldn't find what I needed. Here's the deal, I was riding my 79 club cart and all of a sudden, the cart stops. I was hitting the gas pedal, when it stopped, I looked underneath, and a white wire was hanging. after further investigation, I found out it was burnt off from the motor. it goes to the f/r switch. the whole rear axle doesn't move when you try to push it, I jacked it up, the tires do rotate but in opposite directions. I fixed the wire, tried it, still didn't move. I checked the batteries, fuses, solenoids click, but the wheels don't turn. After trying different things, I would try to see if it would work, the wire I replaced started smoking again, along with another wire that I think goes to the solenoid. If you have any suggestions or advice, Thank you in advice!
