Lifted/stretched precedent steering issues
I recently completed adding the club car stretch kit to my cart. I also have the jakes lift kit. I need some help with the steering. When there are just two people in the cart, I can adjust the steering rods and it works fine. Then, when I have 6 people in the cart, the front items seem to turn in and it steers very eradicate and not rolling smoothly at all. Visa versa, i can adjust it for 6 but them with just 2, the problem appears again. Is there a special something that need to be installed? How dk I keep the steering adjustment under different loads?
Any insight and opinions is welcome. |

Re: Lifted/stretched precedent steering issues
After looking at the cart some more, it appears that the tires from top to bottom are not straight up and down. There really is no way of adjusting this. It seems as though the only thing controlling this is the front spring. If the spring were shorter or more arch, it would likely get the tires back to straight up and down.
When I installed the Jakes spindle lift and stretch kit, do I need to get a heavy duty front spring? Is there such a thing? Does the Jakes kit need a different spring other than the stock one? Any ideas or suggestions? |
