Default 36 volt yamaha throttle question

I have a Yamaha 36 volt..seems to run good but if u give it full throttle it kinda dies off doesn't stop but loses some power...is this a common problem or a easy fix?

its a 91 g5 seems to be that's its not responding to the throttle very well but it goes ...it looks like there is a electric part hooked to the gas pedal ...what is that part and could it be my problem?

I've got a 91 g9 .Got advice here to disconnect the backup buzzer. ran much better after that .

I would check the accelerator moving contact for wear and adjustment.
