If this was me I would order a DPI charger and do away with the OBC before you ruin the batteries. Then you will need batteries and a OBC. Personally I don't see how they can call it a computer

If I had the money I surely would but it's just not in the cards right now. I unplug the charger right now so it won't over boil the batteries. Don't want another short cell. Hasn't anybody taken one of these obc's apart and fixed the problems in them. I have an oscilloscope maybe I need to try myself.

You could put a timer on the AC outlet. Seems odd but would save batteries. Keep you from having to remember to turn it off.

I could do the timer as an alternative but was hoping to find a fix and not a bandaid. I'm sure there is something wrong that could be causing this.

Just took it for a good long ride and put it back on charge and charger only goes up to 7 amps. Shouldn't it jump higher than 10 or so amps

Mine always goes to 15 amps and workers it's way down. There must be something wrong in the charger. The rectifier may be bad. I'm just guessing. Maybe some of the others will chime in. Would be nice if you could try charger on another cart and another charger on your cart.

Did this Usingamultimetersettothediodetestfunction(ç),place theblack(–)probeofthemultimeteronthe positive (+) terminal of the rectifier. Move the positive (+) probe to each of the remaining three rectifier
terminals and note the readings (Figure 5-12, Page 5-16).
4.1. The multimeter should indicate approximately 878 mV with the positive (+) probe on the negative
(–) rectifier terminal.
4.2. The multimeter should indicate approximately 483 mV with the positive (+) probe on one of the AC rectifier terminals.
4.3. The multimeter should indicate approximately 483 mV with the positive (+) probe on the other AC rectifier terminal.
4.4. If any other reading is obtained, the rectifier has failed and must be replaced

My readings aren't terribly off. But not exact either. I had .798mv, .432mv, and .440mv. Just don't know if these numbers necessitate getting a new rectifier. By the way I did the non continuity check withe the probes reversed and passed.

One other thing I just though of. Have you reset the obc? That may explain why you have not seen the warning light.
